The Sagebrush Group

The Sagebrush Group was founded by Kurt Conrad and served as an independent consulting vehicle from 1995 to 1997. During that time, it also functioned as the collaborative marking arm for an association of independent consultants who believed that SGML would be one of the key information management standards for the next decade and beyond. Not only did the name fit with the high desert area of eastern Washington, where we were based, but we thought that the initials were classy.

Since then, SagebrushGroup.com has functioned primarily as my online home, providing a permanent email address, a place to post my resumes and papers, and more recently, a description of consulting services that I typically offer.

The idea of a Sagebrush Group has also evolved, away from a network of consultants and more of a network of collaborators.

At the present, I have once-again become available for independent consulting. Feel free to contact me if you would like any assistance.
